Klithede is the Danish name for the landscape with grass covered dunes along the coasts of the North Sea. This is where we collect the sweet gale, rosehips and sea buckthorn berries for this aromatic lager beer.
Creating the recipe for Klithede, we intended to brew a beer close to white wine. The fruitiness from the berries and slight sourness from sea buckthorn makes Klithede a good replacement for white wine.
If not enjoyed by its own, try to serve Klithede with white fish or a good lunch.
